ベトナムから来ているお客様「ある日、この画面から動作しなくなりました」とお持ち込みです。
動作確認をしますと、ドライブかドライブ上のシステムに異常があり、正常に起動しない様です。
ひとまず、Windowsが修復できるかどうかですね。外部起動をするためにBIOSで設定してみます。
Secure Bootを外しての外部起動もうまくいきません。この後、いろんな外部起動ディスクを試しましたが、どれも起動できませんでした。
そもそもの内蔵ディスクを、別のWindowsディスクに変えてみましたが、同じく起動できません。電源も入りますのでソフト的な問題だとは思いますが…としばらく問題を検索すると、うまく情報を探し当てることができました。
この症状はWindows Updateをした後起きるとのこと。こういうのはニュースになってほしいと思いますが…。
Important Notice Regarding Boot Failure on Affected Laptop Models

Restart your G5/G6 laptop.

Press [F2] when the POST logo appears to enter the BIOS setup.

Enter “Administer Secure Boot”.

Set Enforce Secure Boot to Disabled.

Press [F10] to Save and Exit.

Please remove all unnecessary USB devices and leave only the prepared USB drive from step 3.

Press [F12] when the POST logo appears to open the boot option menu.

Select your USB drive.

Find the drive labeled “USB” (yellow color). Type” fs*: ” (e.g., fs0 as shown in the example below).

Then execute “FlashMe.nsh” to start the update process.
The system will reboot automatically when the update is complete. Revert BIOS settings to original (Step 4-7 – Enable). If the device fails to update, you can get help by contacting the GIGABYTE service center.
このページの情報に沿って、BIOSのアップデートを行うことにします。なくなると困るのでコピペしておきました。
以前のバージョンがFB02。FB05へアップデートできました。
その後、若干の修復はありましたが、そもそものWindowsで起動することができました。
ディスクの空き容量が小さく、このまま容量が減っていくとWindowsの動作自体もおかしくなりますので、念の為お客様にもお話しします。
Windows Updateで調子が悪くなる場合、少なくないので要注意です。
